Bioniche Life Sciences Inc. Re-Files its 2005 MD&A and Certificates

BELLEVILLE ON, September 28, 2006 –Bioniche Life Sciences Inc., a research-based, technology-driven Canadian biopharmaceutical company (TSX:BNC), today announces that, at the request of the Ontario Securities Commission, it has re-filed (on www.SEDAR.com) its Management Discussion and Analysis statements (the “MD&A”) and its certificates (the “Certificates”) of the CEO and CFO in respect of its annual filings for the year ended June 30, 2005 which had previously been filed. The re-filing of the MD&A was necessary due to the omission of language relating to management’s positive conclusion with respect to its assessment of the Company’s disclosure controls. The re-filing of the certificates was necessary because they should have been re-filed with the revised MD&A and Annual Information Form.
